Cement maker Jaiprakash Associates today said its sales in March registered a 75 per cent jump at 13.69 lakh tonnes compared to 7.82 lakh tonnes in the same month last year.
The company sold 37.25 lakh tonnes in the January-March quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal, registering 70 per cent growth over the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The year-on-year sales of the firm went up by 47 per cent to 112.16 lakh tonnes in 2009-10 compared to 76.46 lakh tonnes in 2008-09.
