Power solutions company Jakson Power is eyeing Rs 250 crore revenue from Uttar Pradesh by 2014-15 fiscal. The Greater Noida-based company caters both the institutional and retail customers.
“We have a strong presence in UP backed by a wide network of sales and service centres,” Jakson senior director Sunil Narang said.
Jakson has footprints in UP, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, North East and Bangladesh as well.

“In the last 8-10 years, we have been growing at compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of almost 18%, which is more than the industry growth of 13-14%,” he informed.
The company manufactures diesel generator sets, solar power and electrical contracting solutions.
Meanwhile, Jakson today commissioned a state-of-art service and engine rebuild facility in Kanpur, which is its second such unit in UP after Greater Noida.
It would serve as one-stop service and repair needs for Cummins gensets and engines, including technical support/service, fault diagnostics, product repair and prompt response to customer issues.
Built over an area of over 2.5 acres, the facility is equipped to serve current and future incremental engines installed base.
“With the new facility, we aims to further strengthen our foothold and improve the end customer experience in terms of direct sales presence, service and support network in a fast growing market as UP,” Narang noted.
Presently, there are over 14,000 Jakson diesel generators deployed in UP.
The company also has service locations at Agra, Firozabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Haridwar, Dehra Dun, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Moradabad, Mahoba and Sarahanpur.
