Jaypee Infratech, a subsidiary of the Jaypee Group, today reported nearly 11% dip in the net profit to Rs 349 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.
The infrastructure company had posted a net profit of Rs 392 crore for the January-March period of 2011.
The income from operations of the company for the quarter, however, went up to Rs 920 crore, over Rs 902 crore for the same period in FY 2011-12, the company said in a BSE filing.
For the fiscal year 2011-12, the net profit of the company came down to Rs 1,289 crore from Rs 1,435 crore in 201-11, it added.
Jaypee Infratech also said its Yamuna Expressway Project is near completion. "The expenditure incurred on the project up to March 31, 2012 aggregated to Rs 12,534 crore, it said.
