JCB eyes 20% growth in turnover

JCB India Limited, an earthmoving and construction equipment company, expects 15-20 per cent growth in its turnover during 2010.

“In 2009, our turnover was Rs 2,700 crore and in the current year we are aiming for 15-20 per cent growth,” Vipin Sondhi, managing director and chief executive officer, JCB India Limited, told mediapersons here on Wednesday.

The company recently completed its expansion programme post which its production capacity has increased to 29,000 units (25,000 backhoe loaders and 4,000 excavators and wheeled loaders among others) per year.

JCB had also started exports from India to Southeast and West Asian countries and south Africa, he said.

 

The company, which has 360 outlets across the country opened its showroom and servicing centre in Vizag.
