JCB's Lucknow dealer opens shop

JCB India's Lucknow dealer Alliance Industrial Marketing started its state-of-the-art dealership facility last week.

This outlet will service units in and around Lucknow. "JCB India's association with Alliance Industrial Marketing will help it reach out to its customers in the region," said JCB Managing Director Vipin Sondhi.

Alliance Industrial Marketing has been doing JCB operations since its inception. It has posted its resident engineers at strategic locations.

Alliance has branches in Kanpur, Varanasi, Sonebhadra, and Gorakhpur. The dealership infrastructure has been made as per JCB's Corporate Identity norms and it is equipped with JCB standardised systems to provide a one-stop solution for customers.

"JCB is the world's largest construction equipment-manufacturing company. More than 7,600 JCB machines were made and sold in India in 2005. The market in India is expanding and hence a regular supply of good manufacturing machines should be made available," Sondhi said.

JCB India has a leading position in North India and it is the market leader in the backhoe loader segment, with a market share of over 80 per cent in UP.
