In the wake of recent terror threats at airports in the United Kingdom and a high alert at all airports across the country declared by the Government of India, Jet Airways passengers are advised that all cabin baggage must be processed as check-in baggage while transiting through UK airports, according to an official release issued by the airline today.

Jet Airways will not levy any excess baggage charges on one piece of such cabin baggage per passenger when it is processed as check-in baggage due to the new security measures, the release added.
