Jetstar Asia to fly to B'lore

Jetstar Asia, a low-cost carrier based in Singapore, said on Monday that it will start flying to Bangalore from January 23 as part of its network expansion plan.

The affiliate of Australia's Qantas Airways will fly five times a week to Bangalore.

"Bangalore has been growing phenomenally in recent years," acting chief executive Neil Thompson said in a statement.
