The path has been finally cleared for Jindal Strips Ltd to place its bids for the ailing Salem steel plant of Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL).
It is learnt that the issues relating to the valuation of the company has been sorted out between SAIL and Jindal Strips, and the latter is likely to place its bid by next week.
Without divulging details, sources said differences between the two companies over various issues have delayed Jindal Strips
