Jindal Stainless net dips 68%

Jindal Stainless reported 68.45 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 20.94 crore for the quarter ended December 2005 as compared with Rs 66.38 crore for the same quarter of the last financial year.
 
Total income declined 16.55 per cent to Rs 711.63 crore from Rs 852.83 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company's board has also decided to promote two subsidiary companies in Dubai and London, subject to necessary approvals.
