Jindal Stainless Q2 net Rs 97cr

Jindal Stainless today reported a net profit of Rs 97.05 crore for the second quarter ended September 2006 as from Rs 44.02 crore in Q2FY06.

According to the Jindal Stainless release to the BSE, total income went up to Rs 1,150.05 crore as against Rs 811.95 crore in Q2FY06.

"The results for the corresponding quarters are not comparable as the company's Orissa plant was not operational during Q2FY06," the release added.
