Jindal Thermal to invest Rs 825 crore to up capacity

 In the first phase, the company is looking at adding 100 mw to existing 260 mw (130x2) power unit. In the second phase, a 250 mw greenfield power generating plant will be added at the same location.

 The estimated investment for the proposed 250 mw project is around Rs 825 crore. Senior group executives said an approval from the Karnataka state government has already been received.
