Jisco plans 3.5 mt expansion via debottlenecking

 While the hot rolled coil (HRC) capacity will be raised to 2.5 million tonne from 2 million tonne, the cold rolling (CR) and galvanising facilities will see an addition of about 1 million tonne per annum, resulting in a total CR and galvanising capacity of around 6 million tonne, vice chairman and managing director Sajjan Jindal said.

 The company, which will have outstanding debt of Rs 4,750 crore by April next, will also leverage the strengthened balance sheet of the merged entity to repay and pre-pay debt. The company is also aiming to become a debt free within the next few years.
