JK Ansell Ltd, the maker of Kama Sutra (KS) premium male condoms, plans to target 20 per cent of the entire male condom sales in the country by 2015. It currently has a 17 per cent market share in this segment. Male condom sales in India stood at 2.5 billion units, said a company official. To reach out to its young urban users, the company recently inked a tie up with MTV music to promote its newly launched dotted condom- KS MTV Hardware. Urban market sales account for 85 per cent of the company's sales.
