JK Lakshmi Cement to set up unit in Jhajjar

JK Lakshmi Cement would set up a cement factory at Jharli in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

S Chokse, the Director of the Company has written a letter to Deepender Hooda, Rohtak MP, conveying the decision of the company, said a company release while not disclosing the quantum of investment for setting up the unit.

In his letter, Chokse has said Haryana was one of the developed states of the country and it was a matter of proud for the company to set up its plant in this state.

With the setting up of a cement factory in this area, not only the ash of thermal plants could be utilised, but a number of new avenues of employment would also get opened for the local people, it said.

Endorsing the decision of JK Laxmi Cement to set up a factory at Jharli, Hooda said the whole of Haryana was marching ahead in the field of industrial development. In Jharli, after the commissioning of these two power projects a number of down stream projects would also come up, he added.
