JK Paper net up 8% to Rs 8.65 crore
 
JK Paper has registered about 8 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 8.65 crore for the third quarter ended March 2006 as against Rs 8.01 crore in the corresponding period last year.
 
The company's income grew 17.77 per cent to touch Rs 213.26 crore in the quarter as against Rs 181.08 crore. The company announced that industrialist Arun Bharat Ram and financial expert Udayan Bose would join its board.
 
MRF net up 649%
 
MRF has reported net profit jumped 648.71 per cent to Rs 5.84 crore for the second quarter ended March 2006 compared with Rs 78 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
 
Income during the quarter grew 21 by per cent to Rs 995.55 crore from Rs 824.43 crore in the year-ago period.
 
For the six-month period ended March 2006, net profit has increased 64 per cent to Rs 19.76 crore from Rs 12.08 crore in the corresponding period last year.
 
Mahindra Gesco net up 43.49%
 
Mahindra Gesco Developers posted 43.49 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 3.86 crore for the quarter ended March 2006 as compared with Rs 2.69 crore in the year-ago period. Total income grew 70.62 per cent to Rs 42.98 crore for the quarter as against Rs 25.19 crore.
