JK Tyre & Industries today said it has touched the sales mark of 30 lakh units of truck and bus radial tyres since their launch in India in 1999.
"Over the years, we have consistently improved our product performance and pre and post sales service ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. We are the market leaders in truck/bus radials with a market share of over 40%," JK Tyre & Industries Vice Chairman Raghupati Singhania said in a statement.
The company manufactures truck and bus radial tyres at its facility in Mysore and will soon start producing them from the upcoming greenfield unit in Chennai, he added.
The Delhi-based firm started producing truck and bus radial tyres from the Mysore plant in 1999. It has eight plants -- five in India and three in Mexico through its subsidiary Tornel.
