Hyderabad-based JP Print Systems Private Limited is considering setting up a printing press in the city. The company is also contemplating going in for an initial public offering in the next two years. |
Addressing the media, Mathews Peter, managing director, JP Print Systems Pvt Ltd, said, "We currently outsource the job of printing to various printing press in the country. We may consider setting up a printing press in Hyderabad in the near future. This would involve an investment of around Rs 15 crore. We will fund majority of this investment through loan." |
"Though we are a privately held company, we may go in for an initial public offering in the next two years," he added. |
The company is a publisher of Intermediate and EAMCET (Engineering agricultural and medical common entrance test) resource material in the state. "We plan to go national by publishing study material for the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) also," Peter said. |
JP Print Systems will also be getting into the sector of specialised stationery for the corporate sector which includes personal diaries, notepads etc. "We will be shortly tying up with a US-based company for technology purposes in this regard," Peter said. He, however, declined to divulge the name of the entity. |
Peter was addressing the media with regard to the launch of their latest edition of Intermediate and EAMCET resource material. |
"Andhra Pradesh has more than 16 lakh students studying Intermediate in over 3,000 colleges. Around 50 per cent of these 16 lakh students, however, fail in their exams. This turns out to be a big business opportunity for us," Peter said. |
