Stainless steel producer JSL Ltd today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 117.72 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010.
The company had a net loss of Rs 161.23 crore for the same period in the corresponding fiscal.
Total income of the firm stood at Rs 1,688.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, while the same was Rs 1,367.82 crore during the same period last fiscal, JSL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
For the year ended March 2010, the company reported a net profit of Rs 376.45 crore. It had a net loss of Rs 579.82 crore in the corresponding fiscal.
Shares of JSL today closed at Rs 116.65 on the BSE, down 0.30 per cent from previous close.
