Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Energy posted a three-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 289.64 crore for the quarter ended June , compared to Rs 93.63 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's revenues also increased three times to Rs 932 crore, compared to Rs 301 crore in the first quarter last year.
"There has been three-fold growth in our generation capacity which has come across in our revenue and profit," said N K jain, vice-chairman, JSW Energy. The company generated around 1.8 billion units this quarter, registering an increase of 251 per cent over the same quarter last year.
