JSW Steel Q1 consolidated net at Rs 429cr

JSW Steel has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 429.13 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 (Q1FY08).

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income for the quarter is Rs 2338.86 crore.

On a stand-alone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 427.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 170.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Its total income has increased to Rs 2327.20 crore from Rs 1597.96 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
