Jubilant FoodWorks Q2 net profit down 1.5%

Jubilant FoodWorks, which operates Dominos Pizza and Dunkin Donuts chains in India, on Wednesday reported a 1.46 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 21.56 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 21.88 crore in the July-September quarter last financial year.

Its net sales, however, grew by 13.27 per cent to Rs 665.54 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 587.53 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.

For the six months ended September 30, JFL's standalone net profit dipped 17.96 per cent to Rs 40.56 crore compared with Rs 49.44 crore in the same period last financial year.
 

Its net sales during the first half of the current financial year increased by 10.03 per cent to Rs 1,274.45 crore from Rs 1,158.21 crore in the same quarter last year.

Shares of JFL were trading 3.89 per cent down at Rs 1,099.40 on BSE.
