BS Reporter Chandigarh
Jugnoo, one of India's fastest growing hyperlocal market player, has set its foot in National Capital Region, commencing its operations in Gurgaon. The app was launched in November last year and is present in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jaipur, and Indore. Jugnoo is geared up to hit Delhi and its satellite cities (Noida, Gaziabad, Faridabad and Gurgaon). From ordering groceries from supermarts, pocket friendly and hygienic food and on-door autos, Jugnoo brings it all together in one single platform. Jugnoo plans to expand its base to the Central India market with Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat shortly.

With an infusion of over $6 million so far which was led by Snow Leopard and participation of PayTM during series A funding, Jugnoo is also set to launch in Delhi and all its satellite cities within a span of 3 months. The app plans to hit 40 cities by the end of year making its presence felt across the country. With a base of over 640,000 users across apps, Jugnoo is making over 10,000 transactions daily. Jugnoo is associated with over 350 restaurants (or food providers), 500 stores and 2,500 autos to smoothly execute the requirements. It is fast adding numbers to these in all back-end services. Jugnoo is open to organic and inorganic growth. The on-demand delivery servive provider Jugnoo acquired Mumbai-based taxi aggregator BookMyCab in June this year followed by Yelo and Bristo.

Jugnoo app offers three services on a single app. Jugnoo Autos, Jugnoo meals and Jugnoo Fatafat (delivery of anything like grocery, electronic goods, flowers cakes etc) within a city.

Samar Singla, CEO and Founder of Jugnoo says: "India is a fast growing economy and with every passing day quick delivery, quicker service, and quickest mode of service will become the key to survival. We have already tested various consumer requirements in many Northern Indian towns and cities, and feel that we are now ready to expand our offerings to more cities across the nation."
