Following the several online shopping festivals for apparel, electronics and durables in India, price comparison portal Junglee.com is hosting India’s first online automobile shopping festival, which starts today and will end on March 8, 2015.

The ‘Online Auto Mela’ will offer over 30,000 pre-owned cars and 5,000 bikes from online and offline automobile sellers across the country for customers to buy from.

Among others, automobile players like Carwale, CarTrade, Mahindra First Choice, Gaadi, Cardekho and Zigwheels will participate in the festival, Junglee.com, Amazon India’s price comparison portal, said in a release.

“For ease in selection across the offering, Junglee.com will handpick cars and bikes that are of great value to customers in terms of pricing and promote it as the ‘Best Price Offer’,” the company release said. “Customers can compare prices, models and select the best pre-owned car or bike available within their city with ease.”

The shopping festival will also include offers on auto parts and accessories. Junglee.com has tied up with sellers like Naaptol, Autofresh, Grabmore and Autotrends for discounts on auto-accessories such as helmets, riding gear and car care products.

Junglee.com has also tied up with Policybazaar.com for special offers like free roadside assistance to every customer who registers on a partner site.

Customers who wish to sell their automobiles during the festival on Junglee.com can avail a free vehicle inspection and get a fair price basis the inspection report from Mahindra First Choice, as part of the Junglee.com tie up, the company said.

Junglee.com had launched pre-owned vehicles on its platform in December 2014 and it has already become a significant segment for the company.
