Kalindee eyes Rs 166 crore Kolkata Metro order

Has already bagged three projects worth Rs 200 crore in second half of last year

Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) Ltd is hoping to get a Rs 166 crore order from the Kolkata Metro, according to an exchange notification.  

“The Company could…bag a high value order of Rs 166 crore from Kolkata Metro,” it said.

The notification also mentioned that the company has bagged three projects in the second half of last year from the Railways. The value of the three projects is Rs 200 crore.

The company has also managed to sucessfully bid for a project in New Delhi.

“Further, the Company’s bid for Rs 246.00 crore with Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, New Delhi under Ministry of Railways, New Delhi has been successful. Presently order position in the Company is highly comfortable,” said the exchange notification.
 

Kalindee is a railway focused company involved in signaling, telecommunications, track and information systems. It has plans to further diversify in the fields of Electric Traction system, Traffic Management Systems, Traffic Surveys and Project Evaluation as well as annual maintenance contracts for Railway’s fixed assets, according to its website.
