Kalpataru Power gets orders worth Rs 250 cr

Global engineering and procurement company, Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), has secured orders worth over Rs 250-crore from two firms.

The company said it has bagged orders from the Algerian firm, Sonelgaz and Tamil Nadu Electricity Board to construct transmission lines.

The Sonelgaz (Algeria) contract is for the turn key construction of 220-kv transmission lines of 100 km and a 60-kv lines of 120 km, which has a combined value of Rs 100-crore, a statement said.

The company has also received order from the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for the commissioning of a 400-kv line of over 110 km on turnkey basis to the the tune of Rs 154.25-crore, it said.

 

KPTL has an order book is in the range of Rs 5,500 crore.
