Kalpataru Power to hike capacity by 33%

The board of directors of Kalpataru Power Transmission, which met on January 7, 2005, has approved a proposal to increase transmission tower capacity by 33% from 54,000 MT per annum to 72,000 MT per annum.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, the board also gave its nod to set up one more bio-mass based 7.8 MW power plant in Rajasthan.

"The company will also invest in equipment for the oil-gas pipeline & transmission activities," the release added.
