Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) today said it has secured new orders worth over Rs 955 crore, including overseas projects.
The company, which is into engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business, has bagged a Rs 405 crore order from state-run Power Grid for supply and installation of transmission lines, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Among others, the company has bagged an order worth Rs 140 crore in Armenia, besides a project to the tune of Rs 65 crore in Philippines.
The entity also has orders to be implemented in Uganda, the company said.
"We continue to foucs on increasing our footprints in the international markets and have been successful in entering two new countries, Uganda and Armenia. We have further strengthened our foothold in Africa and CIS region with these contracts," KPTL Executive Director Manish Mohnot said.
Shares of the company climbed 3.18% to Rs 92.45 in afternoon trade on the BSE.
