Kalyani Brakes has bagged an order to export 5,000 disc brakes per week to Bosch of the US.
The braking systems sourced by Bosch from Kalyani Brakes of the city-based Kalyani group will in turn be supplied to General Motors (GM) of the US for its passenger cars.

"From May 2001 we will be supplying 5,000 units of disc brakes per week to Bosch of the US which in turn will supply these brakes to GM," said Satish Sekhri, managing director of Kalyani Brakes.
