Kalyani Forge Ltd, the Pune based manufacturer of precision forgings and forge based components, has decided to temporarily halt two of its divisions owing to reduced demand from the market, according to a statement issued by the company today.
The two divisions - hot forging division and metal form division - have been decided to be stopped from January 13 to January 14 and subsequently from January 23 to January 25.
Last month too, the company had partially closed the two divisions along with its precision autocomp division for two days citing similar reasons.
Net sales of the company for the quarter ended September 2008 increased 2.4 per cent at Rs 46.91 crore.
