Kamdhenu Ispat, engaged in steel, construction and housing sectors, today said it has registered 39 per cent growth in the profit after tax at Rs 3.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.
The revenue jumped 86 per cent to Rs 102.96 crore in the June quarter, from Rs 55.33 crore in the same period last year.
"With set business plan and futuristic approach we are strategically moving ahead increasing our business verticals and increasing our business avenues," Kamdhenu Ispat Chairman and Managing Director Satish Agarwal said in a statement.
The firm, which is also present in Nepal, is all set to enter other SAARC countries in the next few years.
"We believe our neighbouring countries are also witnessing economic boom as our country is, and hence its the best time to explore those emerging markets," Agarwal said.
In a bid to expand its reach across the country, the company has adopted a franchisee-based business model and would associate with various manufacturing plants, the statement said.
