Paint maker Kansai Nerolac today posted 73.5% jump in its net profit at Rs 58.86 crore in the quater ended March 31, as compared to the same period in the previous fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 33.92 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal, Kansai Nerolac said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
During the quarter, the company net sales stood at Rs 520.54 crore, up 22.8% from Rs 423.77 crore recorded in the corresponding period last fiscal.
In the year ended March 31, the company's net profit rose by 24.45% to Rs 205.98 crore from Rs 165.50 crore in the year-ago period. Also, the firm had net sales of Rs 2,138.73 crore against Rs 1,706.38 crore posted in the previous fiscal.
Shares of Kansai Nerolac Paints today closed 0.77% at Rs 855.80 a piece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
