With Infosys chairman and chief mentor N R Narayana Murthy set to retire in August, the Karnataka government has expressed its interest to employ his services for the state's development. This invite comes after the recent controversy where Kumaraswamy's father and former Prime Minister Deve Gowda publicly took on Infosys and Murthy stating Infosys did not require around 845 acres of land in Bangalore, which the IT major had sought for expansion.
