Private sector Karur Vysya Bank Wednesday said it has clocked a 10.6 per cent rise in the second quarter net profits to Rs 83.74 crore.
The Tamil Nadu-based bank had registered net profits at Rs 756.5 million during the corresponding quarter of previous year, the bank said in a BSE filing.
For the half year ending September 30, 2018 net profit of the company slipped to Rs 1.2965 billion from Rs 2.2362 billion registered during year ago period.
Total income for the July-September quarter remained flat at Rs 16.325 billion as against Rs 16.3250 billion registered during year ago period.
For the six month period ending September 30, 2018, standalone total income grew to Rs 33.2990 billion from Rs 32.5288 billion registered during year ago period.
The bank shares ended at Rs 76.90 apiece upby 2.60 per cent over previous close in BSE.
