Karur Vysya Q4 net rises 27% to Rs 147 cr

Total income up 52% at Rs 1,059 crore

Private lender Karur Vysya Bank today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March, 2012 rose to Rs 146.79 crore, up 27.32%.

During the January-March quarter of 2010-11, its profit was Rs 115.29 crore, the bank said in a BSE filing.

The total income in Q4 FY12 increased to Rs 1,059.27 crore, up 52.33% from the year-ago period. The income a year earlier was Rs 695.37 crore.

Total profit during the 2011-12 fiscal (April-March) was Rs 501.72 crore, up from Rs 415.59 crore in the previous fiscal. The full year income was Rs 3,620.52 crore, up from Rs 2,482.02 crore.
