Kaya clinic to open centres in B'desh, Sri Lanka

Kaya Skin Clinic, a venture of Marico Industries, is planning to set up centres in SAARC countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and is expecting a turnover of over Rs 20 crore in 2004-05.

"'We have opened 30 clinics in India and Dubai. We are now planning to open similar clinics in Bangladesh and Sri lanka,'' Rakesh Pandey, CEO of Kaya Skin Clinic, said today.

The division, which offers scientific skin care services by specialists of international repute, was also planning to increase the number of outlets in India to 50 in the near future.

Speaking at the launch of the first clinic in Kolkata, Pandey said the division had clocked a turnover of Rs 5 crore last fiscal, and is expecting a turnover of Rs 20 crore this year.

"We have around 40,000 customers in India. We are targeting both males and females in the age group of 16-60,'' he said, adding the division is aiming at doubling turnover every year for the next few years.
