Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), a one of the leading global fluid management companies announced the launch of Kirloskar mobile pump controller, at its manufacturing facility at Shirwal near Pune. This product was launched at the hands of P G Adsule, director, National Research Centre for Grapes.
Kirloskar mobile pump controller is designed to assist a pump user to monitor and operate the pump remotely with the help of a mobile. The mobile pump controller, available through the distribution network of KBL channel partners across the country, can be installed on different types of new and existing pumps. After the installation, the user can operate the pump from any mobile device irrespective of the mobile service.
This product is a step by KBL towards water conservation and to tackle with the problem of erratic power supply and tough terrains to access the pump location.
Speaking at the launch, Adsule, said,"Mobile pump controller launched by Kirloskars will help in conserving precious resources like water and power. Mobile technology is fast penetrating in rural markets. Using this technology to remotely programme and control the pump-set will help the agricultural community to control the flow of water to the farms, thereby enhancing more area under irrigation and also the overall productivity.”
