Engineering and construction company KEC International today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 868 crore in different verticals, including telecom and transmission.
"KEC International ... Has secured new orders worth Rs 868 crore in its transmission, power systems, telecom and cables businesses," the company said in a statement.
In the transmission business, it bagged orders worth Rs 695 crore from both domestic and overseas market, including Abu Dhabi and Tunisia, it said.
"[In the Power Systems business] the company has secured Rs 72 crore order for design, supply and construction of four ... Sub-stations on turnkey basis in Punjab and Goa," the statement said.
In the telecom vertical, KEC received order for building Fibre Optic Communications System, in the cables business it bagged various order for supply of power and telecom cables, it added.
