KEC Intl bags Rs 198 cr PGCIL order

KEC International has received new orders worth Rs 198 crore from the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for work to be carried out in India. The project is funded by the World Bank.

According to a release issued by KECL to the BSE today, the company is currently engaged in executing orders in various countries such as Abu Dhabi, Libya, Tunisia Algeria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Oman, Zambia, Nigeria and Ethiopia.

'Ramesh Chandak, Managing Director, of the Company said, "KEC has showed its best ever performance in 2005-06. KEC would continue to grow in both Domestic as well as International markets by developing New markets, focusing on Value-Chain expansion and Improving Operational efficiencies."', the release added.
