KEC Intl wins fresh orders worth Rs 95 cr

KEC International, an RPG Group company and a global player in power transmission EPC business, has bagged two orders worth Rs 95 crore in Mozambique and Namibia.

The Mozambique order is a turnkey project that includes construction of a 110 kv transmission line and substation in Cabo Dalgado region. The Namibia order is for installing 207 km cable and hardware accessories. This project is expected to be completed in six months time.

With these orders KEC is consolidatring its presence in the sothern African region.

The company has submitted few more bids in South Africa, results of which are awaited, said Ramesh Chandok, MD and CEO of KEC International in a press release to teh Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
