Keki Mistry appointed on HCL's board

With Mistry's appointment, the board strength of the company increases to 11 Directors, including nine independent ones

Software services firm HCL Technologies today appointed Keki Mistry as Director on its board.

With Mistry's appointment, the board strength of the company increases to 11 Directors, including nine independent ones, the company said in a statement.

"We are delighted to welcome Keki on board... I am certain HCL will greatly benefit from his unique business acumen, financial domain expertise and global outlook," HCL Technologies Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer Shiv Nadar said.

Mistry, Vice Chairman and CEO of HDFC bank, is on the board of various other companies including Sun Pharmaceutical, Torrent Power and Bombay Stock Exchange, besides the several HDFC group companies.
 

"In these exciting times, I am honoured to join HCL Technologies board and work with this exceptional team," Mistry said.
