Khaitan Chemicals FY06 net up 94%

Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers today reported a 94% increase in net profit at Rs 88.5 crore for the year ended March 2006 when compared with Rs 45.6 crore in the previous fiscal.

Topline and other income of the company has risen 33% to Rs 2,456 crore during FY06 as compared to Rs 1848.6 crore in the previous year. Operating profit has also appreciated 33% to Rs 229.1 crore.

The company has declared a dividend of 18%, the company said in an an official statement.
