Khaitan: Ever ready to recharge

 The project has been spearheaded by Yasodhara Khaitan, wife of Deepak Khaitan, executive vice chairman and managing director of Eveready Industries India.

 Solace functions under the Lotus Charitable Trust which runs a centre for diabetics. The trust is part of the Williamson Magor group. The spa is housed in a sprawling 20,000-sq ft property and is said to be the first centre in the city to have an aqua aerobics facility. The property also boasts of the first Reebok certified aerobics studio in eastern India.

 On Reebok's insistence a suspended floor (these are a criss-cross of the basic floor with an air cushion of more than an inch for the bounce) for the aerobics studio has been created. The aerobics classes will be conducted by the company
