Essel Group’s education company Zee Learn has launched Dance India Dance L'il Masters Academy in Ahmedabad. This premier dance academy is an initiative of Zee Learn’s Kidzee, the largest chain of pre-schools in the country with 675 centers in 315 cities.
“It is an initiative by Kidzee to bring together students, parents, friends and their relatives and provide them an opportunity to share the feeling of oneness with Kidzee. Taking forward its unique pedagogy ‘iLLume, Kidzee has launched a dance academy as a part of its extra-curricular activity. It would assist a child in encouraging his mind and body coordination, building self-confidence and focus developing social skills by dancing in groups”, said Nitin Sangle, business head, Zee School Network (Kidzee & Zee School).
“Dance has never been a part of school curriculum in India. Based on the fact that dance enhances a child’s early development, the academy would be a part of various extra-curricular activities at every Kidzee and Zee School present across India,” Kidzee said in a release.
The academy would be open to all children in the age group of 3 to 6 years and 6 to 12 years. There will be four levels of 2 months each for every group–Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Masters. The fees would range between Rs 2,000– Rs 2,800 per level.
