Scooter maker Kinetic Motor Company (KMC) has entered into a marketing tie-up with telecom service provider, Tata Teleservices offering a series of joint promotions. Under the tie-up, customers of Kinetic scooters will be offered specially created packages from Tata Indicom, a step which is aimed at attracting young executives and students. Describing the partnership as a win-win situation for both partners, KMC joint managing director Sulajja Firodia said the symbiotic products from the two strong brands would ultimately benefit the customers. "Such a marketing strategy can aid in effectively garnering mileage from retail establishments of both parties invloved," Tata Teleservices president (marketing) Harish Bhat said. Customers purchasing Kinetic's 'Nova' 135 scooter will be offered a free Tata Indicom post paid mobile and a walky valued at Rs 3000 in addition to free one year local calling between the two and a special rate of 30 paise for all calls between the walky and the mobile, a press statement by KMC said. Buyers of Kinetic 'Zing' and 'Zoom' will get a free Tata Indicom true paid mobile worth Rs 2000. The offer is avaialable acorss the country, it added. |
