"With the launch of these new routes, the number of daily flights offered by the airline will go upto 44. By January 2006 the airline will acquire 11 brand new airbus A-320 aircraft in its fleet in order to cater to the new services." he said.

He also said that the company had ambitious plans of expansion and would explore possibility of starting service to various destinations including Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikkode in Kerala.

"Our immediate plan is to consolidate the present services and expand to new destinations," he said. Replying to a query on fares he said that airline operation is a competitive sector and the fares are reasonably low now.

The company will closely study the tariff strategy of other airlines operating in same sectors and will take appropriate decisions once the market needs that. The airline will operate one flight a day in both directions to these cities on all days of the week.
