Kirloskar Bros buys Aban Construction for Rs 57cr

 According to a release issued by KBL, the present turnover of ACPL, which belonged to the Aban group of companies, is Rs 90 crore.

 ACPL specialises in construction activities including cross-country pipelines for oil and natural gas and infrastructure projects.

 Sanjay Kirloskar, chairman and MD of KBL, said: "We see significant synergy benefits between the core business of KBL and the construction business. KBL plans to aggressively grow the areas of business of Aban Construction by combining focus on quality of both the companies, and by leveraging the capabilities developed in the people and systems of Aban Construction."
