Kirloskar Oil Engines June qtr net up 45% at Rs 43 cr

Diesel engines manufacturer Kirloskar Oil Engines today said its net profit stood at Rs 42.76 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.     

It had a net profit of Rs 29.46 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.     

"Figures for the latest quarter are not comparable with those of the corresponding period of the previous year in view of sale of Valve Division with effect from August 1, 2008", diesel engines manufacturer said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.     

Total operating income of the company stood at Rs 491 crore.  It had a total operating income of Rs 582.26 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
