KKR-backed YuppTV forays into original content production

The internet TV plans to overcome the language barrier by including subtitles

YuppTV, an internet-based TV and on-demand service provider for South Asian content, has forayed into original content production under the platform YuppTV Originals. Its initial focus would be on regional content in episodic format, while also making endeavours for feature film production, the company said.

To produce their first few series, YuppTV has associated with production houses such as I-candy creation, Early Morning Tales, TrendLoud, Madhura Entertainment among others.
