Kochi Refineries FY05 net up 52%

Kochi Refineries has posted a 52% jump in net profit to Rs 842.10 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 555.10 crore in FY04. Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 10125.90 crore in FY-04 to Rs 13210.20 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.

According to a release issued by Kochi Refineries to the BSE, the company has reported a 7% rise in its unaudited net profit at Rs 224.80 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 210.40 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 3075.10 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 3515.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.
