Kohinoor to buy Tagore theatres

The board of directors of Kohinoor Broadcasting Corporation, a media firm, has approved the proposed takeover of the multiplex Tagore Theatres in Chandigarh valued at Rs 100 crore.

The company also approved the opening of its subsidiary in UK for launch of its TV channel in the country and the adjoining areas. In addition to it, the board took note of the receipt of the equipment for teleport to be set up at Rajpura involving a capital outlay of Rs 5 crore. The company would spend Rs 10 crore in seting up the station in Rajpura.
